Savory Turkey Scallop

  1. Prepare stuffing according to directions.
  2. Melt 1/4 cup butter in skillet; add onion and celery and saute.
  3. Mix with moist stuffing; stir in poultry seasoning.
  4. Spread mixture in bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch pan or casserole.
  5. Top with turkey.
  6. In medium saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter; blend in flour, stirring until smooth.
  7. Stir in broth; heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  8. Beat eggs in mixing bowl; add small amount of hot broth, stirring constantly.
  9. Add egg mixture to hot broth mixture; stir until well combined.
  10. Pour over turkey and dressing.
  11. Bake at 325u0b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  12. Last 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle with toasted almonds if desired.
  13. Cut in squares. Serve with creamy mushroom sauce.
  14. Serves 10 to 12.
