Longboy Bacon Cheeseburger
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 3/4 cups Barbecue Sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
- 1/4 cups Chopped Bell Pepper
- 1- 1/2 cup Quick Oats
- 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 loaf French Bread, Cut In Half Lengthwise
- 8 slices Cooked Bacon, Crumbled
- 2 cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
- In large mixing bowl combine first 9 ingredients until well mixed.
- Put the two halves of your French bread, crust side down on a cookie sheet.
- Divide the meat mixture into two parts and spread onto the cut side of each half of the French bread .
- Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes until meat is no longer pink.
- Approximately 10 minutes before completion, remove from oven and add the bacon crumbles and grated cheese.
- Then return to oven and complete baking to melt the cheese.
- Depending on WHO you are feeding, cut into large hunks or smaller slices and serve em up!
