Taco salad layered dip

  1. Brown ground beef & season with salt & pepper.
  2. Drain grease & add onion.
  3. Cook until onion translucent.
  4. Then take off heat to cool.
  5. Add half envelope of taco seasoning & whole jar of salsa.
  6. Mix well.
  7. While waiting for meat to cool, mix cream cheese, sour cream & rest of taco seasoning.
  8. I use mixer for this step because its easier.
  9. When thoroughly mixed, put in 13x9 in.
  10. pan.
  11. Spread on bottom of pan.
  12. When meat is @ room temp then layer it on top of cream cheese mixture.
  13. Then layer lettuce, tomato, cheese, & if you want olives.
  14. Place in refrigerator.
  15. Can serve in 1 hour.
  16. I serve with Doritos.
  17. (you can also scoop it into a tortilla & make wraps).
