Brown Rice and Apple Stuffing

  1. Make rice according to package instructions.
  2. Use the combination of 2 cups natural apple juice and 11/2 cups water for the cooking liquid.
  3. Place olive oil in a large skillet and heat over medium heat.
  4. Cook all chopped fruits and vegetables until they are crisp, not soggy.
  5. Add cooked brown rice, bran, cranberries, almonds, poultry seasoning, pepper and thyme.
  6. Toss well.
  7. Use as stuffing for poultry.
