Arkansas Marinade/Bbq Sauce Recipe
- 2 quart water
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 c. yellow mustard
- 1 quart ketchup
- 1/2 c. freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1/2 c. red pepper flakes
- 3 quart red wine vinegar
- 1 quart white table wine
- 1 1/2 c. salt
- Bring to boil and then simmer for about 1/2 hour.
- Don't cook or possibly store in aluminum; store in glass.
- Does not need to be refrigerated.
- This recipe yields about 2 gallons.
- Comments: This is a great marinade for poultry, pork or possibly beef.
- Marinate the meat for an hour before grilling and then baste the meat once or possibly twice while cooking.
- This sauce is spicy so go easy on the basting.
- Yield: 2 gallons
