Sausage And Italian Peppers Recipe
- 3 tbsp. olive or possibly corn oil
- 3 ounce. white wine
- 1 1/2 pound Italian sweet sausage
- 1 lg. Spanish or possibly 2 reg. onions, minced
- 1 pound peppers, green or possibly red cut into pcs
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Use skillet large sufficient for all ingredients.
- Place in extra virgin olive oil, wine, and sausage; cover.
- On medium-low heat cook sausage 20 min turning often.
- Add in onion and cook 5-6 min stirring often.
- Add in peppers, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook 10 min, turning often.
- Remove cover, raise heat to medium and cook another 10 min.
- Remove and serve.
- Makes 4-6 servings.
