Holiday Cherry Pie

  1. Chop cherries while frozen.
  2. Keep frozen until ready to use.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
  4. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk; mix well.
  5. Add chopped cherries, lemon juice and almond extract; stir just until combined.
  6. Fold in whipped topping.
  7. Pour cherry mixture evenly into pie crusts.
  8. Freeze 8 hours or overnight.
  9. Cut into serving size pieces.
  10. Garnish as desired.
  11. Serve immediately; pie slices thaw quickly.
  12. Store leftovers, covered, in freezer.
