Glazed Pear Cheese Pie Recipe
- 2 (8 ounce.) Packages cream cheese
- 3 Large eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 canned pear halves
- 1 recipe Strawberry Glaze
- Beat cheese till light and creamy.
- Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
- Add in sugar and almond extract.
- Beat till smooth, thick and lemon colored, about 5 min.
- Pour into greased 9 inch pie plate.
- Bake in slow oven (325 degrees) for 50 min.
- Cold 20 min.
- Meanwhile, beat together lowfat sour cream, 3 Tbsp.
- sugar and vanilla, spoon over top of pie.
- Return pie to oven and bake 15 min.
- Cold to room temperature.
- Place liquid removed pear halves on pie cut side down and pour Strawberry Glaze over.
