Som Tum Salad (Green Papaya Salad)
- 250 grams Green papaya (see Step 1 for instructions)
- 1/3 Carrot
- 1 Green pepper
- 1/6 Cabbage
- 1 small Tomato
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 4 tbsp Fish sauce
- 3 tsp Sugar
- 1 Sliced red chilli pepper (as desired) and grated garlic (1/2 tsp)
- 10 grams Peanuts (finely chopped)
- Julienne the green papaya, soak in water, and drain.

- Julienne the carrot, green pepper, and cabbage.
- Chop the tomatoes into 1 cm chunks.
- Combine the seasoning ingredients.
- Combine Steps 1, 2, and 3 with the combined seasoning ingredients to finish.
