Louisiana Boiled Shrimp Recipe

  1. In a large container, add in water and all ingredients except shrimp.
  2. Bring to a rolling boil; add in shrimp, return water and shrimp to a boil.
  3. Boil till shrimp turns pink.
  4. Remove from heat and cover.
  5. Let stand about 5 - 10 min.
  6. Drain and serve.
  7. Peel shrimp and dip in catsup or possibly shrimp cocktail sauce.
  8. Enjoy - Louisiana style.
  9. Serves 6 to 8.
