Favorite Meat Loaves

  1. Mix meats thoroughly with onion, celery and seasonings.
  2. Soak cubed bread in milk; add eggs and beat with a fork or rotary beater.
  3. Combine meat and egg mixtures.
  4. Form into 2 loaves and roll in dry bread crumbs.
  5. Place in shallow dish or baking pan. With the handle of a wooden spoon, make diagonal indentions in the top of each loaf, about 3 or 4 in each.
  6. Spread the chili sauce in these grooves using about 1/2 cup on each loaf.
  7. Pour boiling water around loaves.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
