Flour Tortilla

  1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
  2. Cut in lard.
  3. Mix to a dough with the water.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth.
  5. Let rest, covered, 10 minutes.
  6. Form dough into balls 3 inches in diameter.
  7. Roll each ball out into a flat shaped cake about 1/8 inch thick.
  8. Cook on a hot greased griddle until spotted with brown.
  9. Turn over and brown the other side.
