Peanut Butter Fingers

  1. Cream 1/2 cup butter.
  2. Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar.
  3. Cream well.
  4. Blend in 1 egg, 1/3 cup peanut butter, 1/2 teaspoon soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
  5. Stir in one cup flour and one cup oats.
  6. Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle one (6 ounce) package (1 cup)) semi-sweet morsels.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes.
