Peppermint Pecans Recipe

  1. Mix sugar, lowfat milk, syrup, and salt in 2 qt saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat till it comes to a boil.
  3. Lower heat, then continue cooking to soft ball stage (238 degrees).
  4. Remove from heat; add in peppermint, food coloring, and pecans.
  5. Stir till creamy.
  6. Pour onto waxed paper, cold, and separate.
  7. This is a nice Christmas confection.
