Smothered Chicken Sandwich
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb./450 g)
- 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) Heinz Chicken Gravy
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 pkg. (120 g) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 4 slices white bread
- Cook chicken in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 3 min.
- on each side or until lightly browned on both sides.
- Pour gravy over chicken; cook 5 min.
- or until chicken is done (170 degrees F).
- Meanwhile, add hot water to stuffing mix; stir just until moistened.
- Spoon stuffing over chicken; cover.
- Cook 5 min.
- or until stuffing is heated through.
- Meanwhile, cook peas.
- Place 1 bread slice on each of 4 serving plates; top with chicken and gravy.
- Serve with peas.
