Quick and Easy Chocolate Pound Cake
- 50 grams Chocolate bar (Ghana chocolate black)
- 30 grams Vegetable oil
- 20 grams Hot chocolate mix or cocoa powder
- 10 grams Sugar
- 50 grams Pancake mix
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Milk
- Melt the chocolate bar.
- Add the vegetable oil, and mix.
- Add the pancake mix, instant cocoa mix, and sugar to Step 1, then mix with a whisk.
- Add the egg to the Step 2 mixture, and mix with the whisk.
- Then add the milk and mix some more.
- Pour the Step 3 batter into the pound cake mold lined with parchment sheet, and bake in the oven for 20 ~ 30 minutes at 180C.
- When you insert a toothpick, if it comes out clean, it's done.
- When cooled, if you sprinkle on powdered sugar, doesn't it look like a second cousin of gateau au chocolat?
