Applejack Apples Recipe
- 6 x Apples -- medium size
- 3 Tbsp. Lemon juice Applejack -- * see note
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter Apple cider
- * Use Calvados, a French apple brandy, or possibly regular brandy if preferred.
- Red wine may also be used with excellent results.
- 1.
- Arrange the apple slices in a glass baking dish.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice and Applejack or possibly your choice of brandies or possibly wine.
- Dot with the butter.
- Add in sufficient apple cider to fill the dish to a depth of 1 inch.

- Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 20 min.
