Thanksgiving Turkey Meatloaf
- 3 lb ground turkey
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2/3 oz basil; chiffonade
- 2/3 oz sage; chiffonade
- 2/3 oz rosemary; minced
- 2/3 oz oregano; minced
- 1 1/2 tbsp thyme; minced
- 1 bunch parsley; chopped
- 1 bunch chives; diced
- 1 yellow onion; minced
- 2 stalks celery; minced
- 1 carrot; minced
- 1 cup red bell pepper; minced
- 4 clove garlic; minced
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
- Sweat bell pepper,onion, celery, and carrot in butter until nearly tender.
- Add garlic.
- Sweat until fragrant.
- Add a pinch of thyme, rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper during cooking.
- Immediately cool down in fridge.
- Mix turkey, breadcrumbs, veggies, and herbs together in a large mixing bowl.
- Form loaves and bake at 300 for approximately one hour or until thermometer reaches 165
