Loaded Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Cream shortening, butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
  2. Mix together flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
  3. Add to first mixture and mix well.
  4. Add oats, then add raisins, craisins and white chocolate morsels; mix until combined.
  5. Spoon out by rounded tablespoonfuls on to greased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake at 350F Bake for 8 - 10 minutes (8 for softer cookies; 10 for more crispy cookies), or until LIGHT golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before removing to wire rack.
  8. Cool completely.
  9. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
  10. I usually end up with between 5 and 6 dozen.
