  1. Place popcorn in bowl.
  2. Melt butter in 1-quart saucepan over low heat.
  3. Drizzle over popcorn; toss to evenly coat.
  4. Sprinkle with salt, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately.
  6. Variations: Mexican Popcorn Ole': Omit salt.
  7. Stir 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce into melted butter.
  8. Drizzle over popcorn; toss to evenly coat.
  9. Combine 1 teaspoon chili powder and 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt in bowl.
  10. Sprinkle over popcorn; toss to evenly coat.
  11. Serve immediately.
  12. Savory Party Popcorn: Omit salt.
  13. Stir 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce into melted butter.
  14. Drizzle over popcorn; toss to evenly coat.
  15. Combine 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt, 1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves, 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves, 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder in bowl.
  16. Sprinkle over popcorn; toss to evenly coat.
  17. Serve immediately.
