Favorite Pound Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease and flour 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
  3. Cream
  4. butter and shortening.
  5. Gradually add sugar until light and
  6. fluffy.tdd eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  7. Combine flour and baking powder.
  8. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and extracts.
  9. Beat well after each addition.

  12. prepared pan and bake 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
  13. Cool in pan 5 minutes before removing to rack to cool completely.
  14. Freezes well.
  15. Yields 16 servings.
