Gator Puppies

  1. Mix together the dry ingredients; add water, egg and cheese. Saute the ground gator in 1 tablespoon of margarine until the meat just turns white.
  2. Drain and then add to mixture.
  3. Stir by hand until all ingredients are distributed evenly.
  4. Drop 1/2 teaspoon of mix into 375u0b0 oil and deep-fry until golden brown, turning once.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve with prepared honey-mustard dressing.
  7. Makes approximately 250 (1 1/2-inch), in diameter.
  8. Can substitute crab or fish.
