Pork Chops and Gravy

  1. In a large skillet with lid over med-high heat add oil in pan.
  2. Heat onions through to deep brown and caramelized.
  3. Add pork chops on top of onions and brown on both sides.
  4. Once brown, add soup, milk, and onion soup mix to pan, stirring till mostly smooth.
  5. (it will smooth out in cooking process).
  6. Its ok if the onions burn a bit, this will darken the gravy as it cooks.
  7. No additional seasonings are needed as the mix is salty.
  8. Cover pan and simmer for 35-45 minutes.
  9. Do not remove lid during cooking time.
  10. The longer it cooks, the darker the gravy gets.
  11. Serve over rice or by itself.
  12. Both are great!
