Fruit Juice Pot Roast
- 4 lbs pot roast
- 1 12 cups orange juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 12 cup sugar
- 4 star anise
- 1 piece ginger (thumb size)
- 2 green onions
- 12 cup sherry wine
- 3 tablespoons oil
- Heat oil in pot until hot.
- Brown beef on both sides for 10 minutes.
- Add orange juice, soy sauce, star anise, ginger, sugar, green onion and sherry; bring to boil.
- Cover and simmer for 3 hours.
- Remove meat from sauce; let cool and slice.
- Serve cold.
