Garlic Lemon Shrimp Orzo
- 1 pound Medium-sized Shrimp, Peeled And Deveined (use Either Raw Or Cooked)
- 3 cups Water
- 1 cup Orzo
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Parsley, Finely Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1.
- If you use raw shrimp, put it into a hot pan and saute for 3 minutes (or until pink).
- Then remove it from the pan and set aside.
- Avoid over-cooking.

- Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- Add orzo and salt to taste.
- Cook for about 10 minutes or until tender.
- Drain and transfer to a bowl.
- Add half of the lemon juice and parsley, mix and set aside.

- In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook for a bit less than a minute, until it starts to soften.

- Add shrimp and the remaining lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir and cook for 1 minute.
- 5.
- Combine shrimp and orzo.
- Serve.
