Drunken Irishman Sausage & Peppers

  1. Heat veggie oil in a large saute pan.
  2. Add sausage.
  3. Season with dried spices, salt, and pepper.
  4. Saute until caramelized.
  5. Remove from pot.
  6. Add peppers and onions.
  7. Saute until veggies are nearly tender.
  8. Add garlic and saute until fragrant.
  9. Return sausage to pot.
  10. Add beer.
  11. Reduce until nearly evaporated.
  12. Add horseradish.
  13. Toss.
  14. Variations; Whiskey, coffee, espresso, gin, fennel, celery, marinara, toasted sesame, hoisin, mustard, parsley, basil, potatoes, cabbage, caramelized onions or shallots, roasted bell peppers
