Syd's Pickles
- 1 teaspoon salt per quart of water
- 1 each garlic cloves
- 1 each celery stalk, sliced
- 1 each carrots sliced
- 1 each hot chili peppers
- 1 each bay leaves
- 1 each dill weed
- 1 pound cucumbers pickling, washed
- Combine all ingredients, except cucumbers, in a pan and bring to a boil.
- Then prick the cucumbers with a fork and add to pickling solution.
- Put in jars and seal.
- Let stand for 3 weeks before eating.
