Butter Lettuce With Dried Cranberries and Brie

  1. In small non-reactive bowl combine the dried cranberries and port wine.
  2. Let stand 1 hour, stirring a few times.
  3. Drain after one hour and discard port.
  4. DRESSING: Combine all dressing ingredients in a jar with tight fitting lid and shake well.
  5. Yield: 1/3 cup.
  6. SALAD: Combine the drained cranberries, cheese, butter lettuce and croutons into a large salad bowl.
  7. Toss.
  8. Serve salad dressing on side.
