strawberry shortcake easy
- 10 slice pound cake
- 6 pints pints strawberries
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 12 oz cool whip or whipped cream
- wash the berries and stem them (remove the green leave and the hard part where the steam and berry are attached
- slice the berries add sugar let sit room temperature so the berries will release some of their juices
- in bowls add cake
- add berries
- add whip topping
