Salsa Verde
- 3 Medium Size Fresh Tomatillos
- 1/2 Yellow Onion
- 2 Whole Jalapenos (Remove Seeds For Less Heat)
- 1 cup Fresh Cilantro
- 1 can (4 Oz. Size) Fire Roasted Diced Green Chiles
- 1 Lime, Juiced
- 1/4 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt, Or To Taste
- Slice tomatillos in half and place in the broiler (cut side down) for 5-7 minutes, until the skin becomes slightly blackened.
- Rough chop onion, jalapenos, and cilantro.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender, including lime juice.
- Pulse until desired consistency, place in a jar, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Makes about 1 pint.
