Salsa Verde

  1. Slice tomatillos in half and place in the broiler (cut side down) for 5-7 minutes, until the skin becomes slightly blackened.
  2. Rough chop onion, jalapenos, and cilantro.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a blender, including lime juice.
  4. Pulse until desired consistency, place in a jar, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Makes about 1 pint.
