Easy Gourmet Goulash Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 c. noodles
- 2 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire
- 1 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 can beef broth
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. minced green pepper
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- Place beef, onion, garlic and salt in a large skillet.
- Cook till beef is browned, stir occasionally.
- In a small bowl combine tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, pepper, beef broth and water.
- Add in noodles to beef mix, stir.
- Pour tomato mix over noodles.
- Cover pan and simmer for 20 min.
- Stir occasionally.
- Add in green peppers.
- Cover and cook another 10 min, till noodles are tender.
- Stir in mushrooms and lowfat sour cream.
- Heat through.
- Serves 4-6.
