Beef Pot Roast Recipe
- 4 pound beef chuck roast
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp. shortening
- Brown slowly on all sides in shortening.
- Place in Dutch oven.
- Add in 1/2 c. of water.
- Bake covered at 300 degrees for 2-3 hrs or possibly till done.
- Yield 8-10 servings.
