Bittersweet Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  3. Sift all dry ingredients together.
  4. Cream butter, and sugar, eggs, corn syrup and vanilla, very well.
  5. Add dry ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Blend in the walnuts.
  7. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until soft in centre and edges are slightly firm.
  8. Don't overbake.
  9. Frost with a fudge frosting--.
