Stovetop Beef 'n' Shells

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  3. Stir in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Drain pasta; stir into beef mixture and heat through.
