Easy Jambalaya
- 2/3 cup oil
- 1-1/4 qt. onions, chopped
- 1-1/4 cups green peppers, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh garlic, minced
- 2-1/2 qt. canned diced tomatoes, drained
- 1-1/4 gal. chicken broth
- 2-1/2 qt. OSCAR MAYER Jumbo Smokie Link 5:1, sliced
- 1-1/4 gal. cooked brown rice
- 2-1/2 qt. Frozen okra, thawed
- 1/4 cup dried thyme leaves, crushed
- 1/4 cup Creole seasoning
- 2-1/2 tsp. DURKEE Hot Sauce
- Heat oil in large stockpot.
- Add onions, peppers and garlic; saute 3 to 5 min.
- or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Add tomatoes, chicken broth and sausage; simmer 15 min., stirring occasionally.
- Stir in remaining ingredients; simmer 5 min.
- or until heated through.
