Beer And Sauerkraut Fudge Cake Recipe
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 c. beer
- 2/3 c. sauerkraut
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. minced nuts
- Cream butter and sugar till light.
- Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Blend in vanilla.
- Sift cocoa, flour, baking pwdr, soda and salt together.
- Add in to creamed mix alternately with beer, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
- Stir in sauerkraut.
- Raisins and nuts are optional.
- Turn into two 8 or possibly 9 inch greased and floured cake pans.
- Bake at 350 for 35 min.
- Cold and frost as desired.
