Johnny Marzetti
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 large onions, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 large can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms and liquid
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 green mango, minced
- 1 tsp. vinegar salt
- 2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. noodles
- Brown hamburger, onions, garlic, celery and green mango with margarine in a big skillet.
- Stir in paste, sauce, mushrooms, water, vinegar and grated cheese.
- Simmer 15 minutes to make a rich sauce.
- While sauce is cooking, cook noodles in salt water until tender.
- Drain and mix with sauce.
- Cook 1 hour in a 350u0b0 oven.
