Apple-Blackberry Crisp
- butter
- 2 Gala apples
- 2 Golden Delicious apples
- 1 package frozen blackberries
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon zest
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- Lightly butter a 9-inch pie dish.
- Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples 1/4-inch thick.
- In a large bowl, toss together the apples, blackberries, sugar, and lemon zest and juice.
- Transfer to the prepared pie dish.
- Cover with Crumb Topping and bake until the fruit is tender and the top is golden brown, 60 to 75 minutes.
