Apple-Blackberry Crisp

• butter
• 2 Gala apples
• 2 Golden Delicious apples
• 1 package frozen blackberries
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 1 tbsp. lemon zest
• 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
• 2 tbsp. cornstarch

1. Lightly butter a 9-inch pie dish.
2. Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples 1/4-inch thick.
3. In a large bowl, toss together the apples, blackberries, sugar, and lemon zest and juice.
4. Transfer to the prepared pie dish.
5. Cover with Crumb Topping and bake until the fruit is tender and the top is golden brown, 60 to 75 minutes.
