Corny Chili

  1. Place
  2. beans
  3. in
  4. colander
  5. and
  6. rinse with water until water runs
  7. clear.
  8. Chop onion into small pieces and place in pan. Squeeze
  9. garlic
  10. into
  11. pan.
  12. Place
  13. pan
  14. on
  15. burner
  16. and crumble in turkey.
  17. Cook on medium-high heat; stir occasionally
  18. for about 5 minutes, until turkey is no longer pink.
  19. Add chili powder,
  20. tomatoes (break them up with wooden spoon) and their liquids, chilies, corn and beans to pan.
  21. Reduce heat to medium-low
  22. and
  23. simmer,
  24. uncovered,
  25. for 15 minutes.
  26. Makes 4 servings.
