Tuna Melt w/ Bacon
- 1 can tuna
- 2 slice bacon
- 1 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp french onion dip
- 2 stick green onion
- 1 dash lemon pepper
- 1 dash seasoned salt
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 dash onion powder
- 1 dash hot sauce (optional)
- 4 slice bread
- 1 butter
- 1 cheese
- Cook bacon according to liking.
- When done, set aside for later.
- While bacon is cooking.
- Drain tuna from can and place in bowl.
- Add mayo, french onion dip, green onions, and all seasonings to bowl and mix.
- Coat frying pan with butter.
- Once pan is heated, place slice of bread in pan.
- Then put half of tuna mixture (or amount preferred) on slice of bread in pan.
- Place bacon on top of tuna mixture.
- Placement and/or amount of bacon is up to you.
- I like about 1 1/2 slices on bacon.
- Add your choice of cheese and amount of cheese on top of bacon.
- I used shredded sharp cheddar.
- Place second slice of bread on top of cheese, and press down with spatula.
- Flip the sandwich.
- You can add more butter to the pan before you flip if you prefer.
- Then press again with spatula.
- When both sides are nicely toasted.
- Plate and cut in half if wanted.
- Enjoy
