Braised Shitake Mushrooms In Oyster Sauce
- 15 large dry shiitake mushroom
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 thumb size rock sugar
- 2 tsp corn starch mix with water
- 1 tbsp fine dice garlic and shallot
- quick wash the mushroom
- soak the dry shiitake mushroom in warm water for 5 minute till soft then trim the stem
- squeze dry the mushroom and preserved the soak water
- use 2 tbsp of corn starch rub on mushroom gently set a side for 2 minute then rinse with water and squeze dry
- in pan put little oil then fine dce garlic and shallot with the mushroom preserved water, mushroom,rock sugar and bring to boil
- add seasoning bring it to a boil then simmer for 5 minute then add cornstarch water till gravy start thickening
