Bran Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 375F and lightly spray muffin pans with cooking spray or line with cupcake papers.
  2. Mix buds and boiling water.
  3. COOL.
  4. Creme sugar and butter.
  5. Add to bran.
  6. Add eggs and buttermilk.
  7. Add flour, salt, and soda.
  8. Add Raisin Bran and applesauce.
  9. Stir lightly.
  10. Bake as needed in muffin tins in oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Makes 2 quarts that will keep up to four weeks in the refrigerator.
