Sweet And Sour Chicken

  1. Heat oil in wok and fry chicken until tender or white.
  2. Season with salt.
  3. Add green pepper, onions, and syrup drained from pineapple.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes.
  5. Mix cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and water; stir this mixture into chicken.
  6. Cook until thickened.
  7. Stir pineapple chunks and chow mein vegetables.
  8. Heat thoroughly.
  9. Serve over rice or chow mein noodles.
  10. Add snow peas or water chestnuts if desired.
