Pork Chop Delight

  1. Trim as much of

  3. fat
  4. from chops as you can.
  5. Heat oil in a large
  6. skillet and brown chops on both sides.
  7. Spread rice evenly in the bottom of a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan that has been well-greased.
  8. Add
  9. hot water, 1 teaspoon of the salt and the red pepper.
  10. Place
  11. the
  12. chops
  13. over
  14. rice;
  15. top
  16. with onion, bell pepper,
  17. remaining
  18. 1
  19. teaspoon
  20. of salt and black pepper.
  21. Spoon soup over
  22. the
  23. top; cover and bake at 375u0b0 for 40 minutes or until rice and chops are tender.
