McClure's Mustard Blue Cheese Lamb and Beef Burgers Recipe icelandadam
- 3/4 lb ground lamb
- 1/4 lb lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- McClure's Mustard to taste
- 2 cloves pressed garlic, slightly cooked
- onion powder to taste
- salt, pepper, white pepper, crushed red pepper to taste
- 1 block blue cheese, sliced thin
- 3 brioche buns, sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced thin
- combine meat, egg, garlic, mustard and spices in med bowl.
- mix thoroughly.
- place in refrigerator for at least a hr or two to allow the meat to set up.
- form meat mixture into patties, heat skillet til water dropped on it sizzles.
- cook for a few minutes on each side.
- turn off skillet.
- wait 5 to 10 minutes.
- cook til desired temp, adding blue cheese a few minutes before.
- place on brioche with desired amount of sliced red onion.
