Can Do Chicken Recipe
- 1-12 ounce can chicken noodle soup, undiluted
- 1-12 ounce can cream of celery soup,undiluted
- 1-12 ounce can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1-12 ounce can evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1-10 ounce chunk white chicken, liquid removed
- 1-16 ounce can mixed vegetables, liquid removed
- 1-4 ounce can sliced mushrooms, liquid removed
- pimentos if you like
- In a large pan mix soups, lowfat milk and flour.
- Bring to a boil, cook stirring for 2 mintues or possibly until thickened.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients, heat til proportionately heated through.
- Serve over your choice of chow mein noodles, toast points, noodles, mashed potatoes, etc.
- This comes from cans we have on our pantry shelves, leftover chicken or possibly turkey work well also.
- It's a lifesaver when unexpected company shows up!
- It will serve 6 to 8 - possibly more.
- It tastes a lot like chicken a la king and goes together so quickly and easily, too!
