Pizza Sausage Supper Pie
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 4 to 6 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. jar pizza sauce
- 6 triangles Cheddar cheese
- In skillet, cook sausage and onion until meat is brown; drain well.
- In large bowl, combine eggs, milk, shredded cheese, spice and pepper.
- Stir in sausage and onion.
- Turn into pie shell and bake in a preheated 375u0b0 oven for 25 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
- Spread top with pizza sauce and arrange triangles of cheese in spoke fashion over top.
- Return to oven 5 to 8 minutes.
- Cut in wedges.
- Serves 6.
