Passover Brownies
- 12 cup shortening or 12 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 12 cup sifted matzo cake meal
- 12 teaspoon table salt
- 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- Cream shortening and sugar together.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Beat until fluffy.
- Stir in melted chocolate, then fold in cake meal and salt.
- Stir in walnuts.
- Pour into greased 8" square baking pan.
- Bake in preheated 350F oven for 30 minutes.
