Snow Peas With Sesame Seeds
- 2 cups water
- Salt to taste
- 1 pound snow peas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons chopped scallions
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- Put the water in a saucepan and add salt.
- Bring to a boil and add the snow peas.
- Blanch them for 1 minute and drain.
- Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet.
- Add the sesame seeds and brown them lightly.
- Add the snow peas, scallions, salt and pepper.
- Saute for 1 minute and serve.
