Fast & Easy Marbled Cake
- 120 grams Cake flour
- 4 grams Baking powder
- 80 grams Sugar
- 100 grams Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Vanilla extract
- 10 grams Cocoa powder
- 10 grams Sugar
- 1 tbsp Hot water
- 8 grams Matcha
- 10 grams Sugar
- 2 tbsp Hot water
- Grease the pan with oil or butter and set aside.
- I placed a sheet of parchment paper in the pan so that the cake could be removed easier.
- Combine the ingredients well to make the cocoa mixture.
- Preheat the oven to 170C.
- Place the flour, baking powder, and sugar into the food processor and blend well.
- Add the 1 cm cubes of butter and blend some more.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Keep blending.
- Once it becomes the consistency as seen in the photo, it's done.
- Separate the batter into 2 portions.
- Mix one portion with the cocoa mixture.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan, alternating colors.
- Use chopsticks held vertically to vigorously draw 2 circles in the batter in the same location.
- Then draw a line through the center of the circles.
- Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven and it's done.
- Follow the same process to make a matcha marbled cake.
